“ First time here after our favorite Mexican restaurant in Morro Bay closed. Worth the short drive. We both enjoyed the food, beef enchilada and carnitas taco. Service was great even though there was only one server and the restaurant was quite busy. ”
“ I can't get over how much I love this Mexican food. I've had it to-go a few times over the summer, and it never gets old. Everything is so fresh! Perfectly seasoned. Probably the best crispy taco I've had in the last 5 years. Affordable prices. Highly recommend. ”
“ Love the shredded beef tacos, rice and beans are so perfect- best tasting. The tacos are freshly made and the taco shell is fried from what seems like a homemade tortilla too. It was very good. One taco filled me up. 3 days later we went back and I tried the fish tacos. Very good as well. The price is the best I town too and I hope that doesn't change. ”
“ Been here a couple times. The rice & bean are spot on for me. I usually get the chili verde enchilada and beef taco. Taco shells are light & crispy. Staff were friendly. Opossum tracks on the tiles are interesting. Decent prices. My food pic pretty much says it all. ”
“ Love this place! Super friendly staff and has the best salsa. Can't really go wrong with anything off the menu. Fajitas, chili relleno and the garlic shrimp are my regular favs. Their beans are delicious, the beer is ice cold, and the chips are warm. Recommend getting the chili relleno with the chili Verde on top with corn tortillas. Yum!!! Don't forget if you love the salsa grab some to go! If the weather is nice be sure to check out their back patio for a little slice of quiet. ”
“ The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The menu had many choices! I could not choose between the vegetable quesadilla and the tropical quesadilla so I chose the Veggie quesadilla and I substituted the tropical sauce. Their salsa is so good! A beautiful fresh, robust flavor that is a party for your palate!!! I just could not stop eating it thank goodness I ran out of chips. I tasted my husbands albondigas, which had a beautiful amount of vegetables and an amazing broth! I also tasted some of his carne asada! It was grilled to perfection! My tostada was HUGE, and full of fresh grilled vegetables in hefty portions. The onions were perfectly caramelized! The combination of vegetables and the tropical addition was just amazing. Everything is FRESH!!!! The owner takes pride in his meals, and it shows. The staff is very friendly and the service was incredible. I am so glad we found La Casita it was a great family meal on our combined vacations. The children loved their meal as well. On a scale of one to five stars I give La Casita 6 stars ”
“ Come eat at La Casita!! Such a diverse menu with amazing food and reasonable prices for a full plate. The service was quick and the waiters are super friendly and accommodating. This is a well-decorated, spacious place, perfect for the family. As soon as we sat down, chips and salsa were placed on our table. I ordered the fish and shrimp tacos, and they were awesome. The breakfast burrito was also amazing. I'll be coming back for sure! ”
“ Came here a year ago. Decent Mexican food. Service was ok. I ordered chili verde with napoles and got chili rojo. It was on the dry side, had to add salsa. That wasn't the worst part.. it was obviously microwaved and it was cold. I ordered a Al pastor taco. It was ok. Was asked if I wanted soup or salad, asked for soup... it never showed up. My wife had napoles with veggies. She liked it. The rice and beans were good. The chips were on the stale side. We also ordered their in house kombucha. That was delicious. We also bought their house made bottled chili rojo, to take home. Haven't tried it yet., sounds like a bad review, but the food was ok. Could have been better. ”
